Oakland, NJ - a great city for children

My children, my wife and I had the good fortune to have lived in the city of Oakland, New Jersey, in the last 18 years. The commitment to sports programs for children, especially girls softball, I think it would be hard to beat any other city of this size. (14,000 -15,000 people).

I have many girls flourish in the Softball program, playing team travel, and at the universities of our school. Part of the success of girls is on the efforts of a handful of men and womenthe commissioners, coaches and administrators of these programs I would like to think what would be the life of my daughter, if not playing softball. Who loves softball.

Go For the purpose of driving the game, I saw, organize teams, balance programs and to select the bus. I have problems finding a referee for the game can be played. I've seen around in the golf cart - the attempt to locate the key that opens the canopy, so that the lightcould be a game night. Are always around to ensure that things work out. I wonder how they will be able to reassure the parents to satisfy their critics and remain calm even when faced with birds. I think the answer is that, like the game more of a headache.

My thanks to the tireless people who manage the sports programs in the city of Oakland.

Neil Malmud a source of inspiration for this story. For his work as an administrator, curator andprimarily as a coach are very grateful.
