Michael Tomlinson, The Way West

On a cloudy afternoon in the North West in August, my girlfriend, Patricia, and I threw in the Snoqualmie River on the edge of the Cascade Mountains, this song and movie. We found a beautiful oasis of trees and grass along the river and spent the afternoon singing The Way Out West. Our dog, Bungee, barking incessantly for us to leave in the frame. The problem is that you end up with a fuzzy little dog 'comes and goes with every shot. Therefore banditCamping-chair a few feet away and pretend I was singing while I hear constant barking dog complaint. That evening we returned to Seattle in a light rain, with the top down in my old Malibu, wrapped in blankets with my girlfriend and my jacket and more comfortable for me. There was not much love in the car that day. Thanks to Terry O'Brien of additional footage.
